Each patient receives comprehensive treatment through an innovative, integrated approach to health care.

Walk-in Assessments

The first step to receiving treatment is an assessment with a counselor. You can schedule this in advance or walk in, Monday through Friday, to establish care. We often treat patients who have a dual diagnosis, meaning they have both mental health and substance use needs.

Counseling & Psychiatry

Through talk therapy and other approaches, our counselors, psychiatrists and addiction medicine providers are experts in caring for patients with substance use disorder (SUD), including opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD). This may include one-on-one, family or group counseling, and medication management.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program

The MAT program is for those struggling with alcohol or opiate addiction. It uses a medication regimen paired with mental health and support services to support individuals in starting and sustaining their recovery.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

For patients diagnosed with substance use disorder, our IOP is structured and scheduled programming. Those suffering from physical withdrawal, homelessness, preoccupation with drug use, or other similar issues, may want to consider IOP.

Dual Partial Hospitalization Program (DPHP)

DPHP is an intensive group for patients who have both a mental health diagnosis and substance use disorder. The program, available in Maple Heights, focuses on building coping skills and mindfulness to help stabilize and improve patients' living environments.

Problem Gambling Treatment

If you or a loved one is struggling with gambling, Signature Health has licensed counselors with specialized training to treat problem gambling disorder.

Peer Support and Case Management

A trained peer support specialist is someone who can share their own lived experiences to help patients with their recovery. This could mean assisting with problem solving, navigating care, accompanying the patient to 12-step meetings, coaching on life skills, etc.

Another member of the care team could be a case manager, who helps patients navigate everyday life to ensure basic needs are met (e.g., food, housing, clothing, etc.)

Connection to Medical Care

Patients also can access Signature Health’s primary care and infectious disease services, including health screenings and treatment for hepatitis C, HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Residential Facilities

Signature Health operates Roberto Flores Home in Euclid, which cares for patient with a dual mental health and substance use disorder diagnosis.

ORCA House in Cleveland is expected to open sometime in 2023.

How do I know if I need help?

Consider getting help if your use of drugs or alcohol causes:
• Legal trouble
• Family/relationship conflict
• Loss of employment
• Physical withdrawal
• Homelessness
• Lacking attention to hygiene
• Other unmanageable symptoms

What health insurance do you accept?

Signature Health accepts:

  • Medicaid

For patients without insurance, we offer a sliding fee scale program for those who qualify. This means payment is based on your income. We can also help get new patients set up with Medicaid.
